The story feels fresh and the characters within it feel fresh and without a doubt the combat packs a punch in all areas. Everything about this reimagination then has been completed with a lot of love and effort and they’ve paid homage to the original extremely well whilst also making it fresh at the same time. The screenshots however didn’t do the game enough justice because in my opinion this game has some of the best visuals and sound design I’ve ever experienced and this is the process throughout. The reimagination of Resident Evil 2 is something I’ve been following really closely over the past couple of years and everything I saw during that time just made me more and more excited because it looked incredible. The original Resident Evil 2 is loved by so many and for me it’s definitely my favorite games in the series. Each enemy poses a different challenge this time around and they seem to be more clever which makes the gameplay more challenging and fulfilling.

They’ve paid homage to the original game extremely well while also adding tweaks and changes which definitely make it feel like a new addition to the Resident Evil franchise. Combat feels fluid and responsive at all times and destroying zombies and other enemies always felt satisfying and in some ways unique. I was thoroughly impressed with the level design because exploring each nook and cranny always felt rewarding and it definitely made the gameplay even more immersive.In terms of content there is a great deal for you to get to grips with and revisiting the game always feels fresh so multiple play throughs is a must.
